Branscomb Law estate planning and probate attorney, Michael Stukenberg, was recognized by the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas for pro bono work he’s done through the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid over the past 18 years.

Stukenberg, who coordinated Branscomb Law’s firm wide pro bono participation in the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid program helped several clients, including non-English speaking clients, in estate planning and probate matters. Additionally, he helped a local homeless coalition obtain articles of incorporation.

“The commitment to pro bono work is fundamental to being a lawyer. We all celebrate all the ways lawyers serve our communities, strengthen our justice system and support the rule of law,” said ABA President Stephen N. Zack.

Stukenberg’s practice continues to help companies and individuals in developing their estate plans and structuring family businesses, income and estate tax audits, and probate and trust matters.
