Paloma Perez is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Business Group. Paloma has a strong focus on transactional matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts such as purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, NDAs, vendor and service agreements, governing documents, and other business and real estate-critical documents. Paloma is experienced in supporting mergers and acquisitions, conducting due diligence, advising on entity formation, corporate governance, and contract lifecycle management.

Personal

Paloma grew up in the City of Mission, located in the Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken), with proven experience providing legal counsel to diverse client groups and has a bicultural experience with a deep understanding of both American and Mexican cultures, enabling effective communication across diverse environments. She serves as a mentor for incoming 1Ls at TAMU Law when school is in session. When Paloma is not catching up on the latest real estate and business law developments, she is reading fashion law blogs and furthering her education on the legality of upcycling. In her free time, Paloma can be found doing one of her many hobbies such as hiking, horseback riding, or cooking from scratch.
